Clubmark Information

Previous Email from Graham Jelly, ECCB Secretary

Dear All,

As you are aware there are significant changes to Clubmark from 2017 onwards. Below is a memorandum from ECB, which explains the process for 2016, which sees an Annual Health Check centrally administered by ECB. This annual health check will be accessed via the weblink contained in the attached document.

Within these changes to the administration of Clubmark, responsibilities are as detailed below:-

 ECB Role

·         Collect and collate the Annual Health Checks

·         Respond directly to Clubs on queries re the Clubmark process for 2016

·         Collect a copy of the Club Development Plan from each Clubmark Club

·         Share information gathered with CCBs including:

o   A check list of who has submitted their Health Check forms

o   Copies of the Club Development Plans

·         Follow-up on Clubs who have not submitted Health Checks by the stated deadline

County Cricket Board Role

·         Initial email to Clubs notifying them that the Health Check is now online

·         Continue to support Clubs in their development to maintain standards

·         Support any queries on development plans and the completion of the Health Check

As you can see one of the requirements is for clubs to submit a club development plan, which will be done via the Annual health Check weblink in the attached document. As a county board we will continue to work with clubs to support in respect of development plans and DBS (CRB’s previously) checks – we will also offer dedicated support for those clubs that are due to re-accredit in 2016, and we will be in direct contact in the near future. We will also keep clubs updated on Clubmark as and when we receive further information

Kind regards

Graham Jelley | ECCB Secretary / Cricket Development Manager
